sometimes i see pictures or read stories of people being loudly queer in a time and a place where they proably didnt have accessto community the same way i do and i just think about how they knew themselves well enough to be themsleves in a loud unavoidable way and i never could have known myself enough to do that without them because my queerness is just so much quieter in me and would have just pushed it down and away and i still do a lot of the times! and i dont want to, but i do.
